How to be a Slow Fashionista in a World of Fast Fashion and still Look Astonishing.

Who doesn't want to look beautiful? Who doesn't want to be creative and different in their fashion attire? Well I won't allow you to think that you being a slow fashionista you can't fit into the world of fast fashion.

Changing the way you buy and dress has a bigger impact in the environment and in the lives of others than you think. Fast fashion is and has been exploiting the world but right now buying into the slow fashion is easy if you change your mindset and you will still fit into the fast fashion world. I have discovered a few ways which I am using to try and become a slow amazing fashionista.

Back to Basics

Trendy wears are the reason people accumulate lots of wear that they don't  need and might not suit them. Trend changes so fast and doesn't fit everyone so why join them? If you stick to the basics of buying simple clothes and adorn them with attractive accessories you will be able to wear them over and over again. Clothing or rather fashion plays a big impact on how you feel so why don't you get what you love and adore and not  try to stay with the trends.

Thrifting

Although prices of clothes have increasedin the thrift store after it became "trendy" , you can still buy relatively cheap clothes that look so gorgeous on you and are rare to find rather than buying one you can easily find on everyone. Although it's still important to advise you don't buy excess because it's cheap and later you end up not using them. Rather select the best, different, lovely and above all be creative with the wears.

Cloth Swap

A way to keep your closet new without buying new attires is by swapping clothes with some friends. Swap your clothes you haven't worn for a long time with a friend who has a cloth she is bored of and you secretly admire them. This you being a slow gorgeous fashionista in the world of fast fashion.

Buying from Sustainable Brand

If you really must buy new clothes from a sustainable brand in your area try to know different brands where you live and where they source their materials from. Buy clothes you won't wear once or twice and then throw away, rather go for the ones you will always put on and whenever you go out you look so creative in your environment. This not only you being a slow fashion buyer but you being an ethical buyer.

Mend your cloths 

With all this time on our hands we may as well learn how to mend our clothes instead of throwing them out because they are a little torn. You can learn it on a YouTube channel.
